Post 4103 recently elected and installed new Post officers for the 2017-2018 cycle. Post Commander Josh McFall has completed the traditional two year term and will be stepping down. Josh has served continuously for the past six years as Junior Vice Commander, Senior Vice Commander, and Post Commander. He is taking a recess from active leadership in the VFW to return to school and complete his college education, but looks forward to remaining active in the Post and the VFW.
For the upcoming year, the Post will be under the leadership of very active member, and current Junior Vice Commander, Lory Lacsamana. Lory has regularly served as the Commander’s representative at district meetings, attends every Post meeting, and is a regular fixture at community veteran- and military-focused events.
Another new addition to the slate of officers is Margo Ellis as Junior Vice Commander. Mo Tran (Senior Vice), Nick Sutton (Adjutant/Quartermaster), Tom Hillyard (Chaplain), and Pat Rosenthal (Judge Advocate) will continue serving in their current posts for another year.
As always, Post 4103 is looking to ensure that the VFW remains a viable, useful veterans service organization for today’s vets. We encourage all eligible vets to get involved – especially younger Afghanistan and Iraq vets who will be today (and tomorrow’s!) advocates for veterans issues.
