Veterans Can Now Shop Online Via Military Exchanges!

All honorably discharged veterans are now eligible to begin shopping online at the military exchanges. Military exchanges (including their online storefronts) offer tax free shopping and discounted pricing.

November 11th is the actual launch date for this new benefit, but it’s worth it to register now at VetVerify.org, as some veterans will be automatically selected as beta testers and able to start shopping online at the military exchange websites immediately.

VetVerify.org uses Defense Department Manpower Data Center data to automatically verify status. The veteran will either be automatically approved, or told what steps they need to take to update the Defense Department system. Once approved, the veteran can register at whichever military exchange site they prefer (AAFES, NEX, CGX, or MCX) and start enjoying tax-free shopping and discounted prices.

One Post 4103 member was automatically approved completed the process in less than 5 minutes, and was ready to shop via the AAFES website.
